In Winter
The town truly comes alive during the winter season, with tourists flocking from all over Europe and beyond.
If you are considering visiting Morzine for skiing or snowboarding, you will be spoilt for choice with the endless terrain to suit all abilities. Morzine is in an excellent location with lifts leaving from the town itself, taking you right to the slopes.
If you fancy taking time away from the slopes there are plenty of activities in and around the village to keep you entertained. Try taking a tandem paragliding session with a trained instructor and get a true birds eye view of the mountains.
If you prefer to keep your feet more firmly on the ground, try a snow shoe excursion into places on the mountainside that no boarders or skiers ever reach.

In Summer
Unlike other French ski resorts, Morzine has its very own summer holiday season which offers an exciting range of alternative summer adventures. Famous for hosting the Tour de France, Morzine is popular amongst cyclists for its world-famous cols and challenging routes.
The resort has more recently become a hotspot for triathlon training, giving athletes and amateurs the opportunity to train at altitude and take advantage of swimming in one of the stunning turquoise lakes.
The resort has an abundance of activities to choose from and something for all of the family from whitewater rafting, mountain biking or simply lazing beside the outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool.
