Last minute registrations will be accepted between and 14.00 and 19.00 the day before the race so there is still time to get involved

29th June to 1st July Every day 7.00am to 18.00pm

Pass’Portes Du Soleil

A fantastic MTB event that runs every year on the Portes du Soleil (www.passportesdusoleil.com). It’s a weekend mountain bike festival that has a marked out loop on the mountains of 80km – sounds long but there’s 15 lifts used in that loop so very little peddling uphill! The trail they use is suitable for almost all levels of mountain biker; it’s a fantastic route that takes in the best the region has to offer. You can even cut parts out to make a shorter loop if you don’t fancy the full 80km. The passport weekend runs on the 29th, 30th June and 1st July.

There are food stations around the mountains (in addition to the usual mountain restaurants). Even if you don’t fancy entering the event it is still a great atmosphere in town and they leave the course marked out for a few days afterwards so you can take advantage of the loop without needing to be part of the event.

There is a special route for children ages 9 -14 and also a walking pass so you can go and cheer on the participants.

7th July to 8th July

Spartan Race – European Championship

Back for its 3rd year running.  The Spartan is a huge obstacle course taking place in Morzine and is sure to be lots of fun whether taking part or spectating. You can opt for the 3-5 miles with 20-23 obstacles, 8-10miles with 24-29 obstacles or 12-14 miles with 30-35 obstacles. If you really want to challenge yourself why not go for all 3 ‘The Trifecta’ consists of completing all 3 races in one day. The Spartan Race isn’t just for adults, there are 2 categories in the children’s race for the future athletes in your family.
